Accra: VODEC Africa, a non-governmental organisation focused on empowering African youth in leadership, entrepreneurship and career development, will be holding this year’s National Emerging Leaders Economic Forum on September 23.

This year’s event is on the theme ‘Leading for Sustainable Economic Growth in a Multipolar World: The Role of Emerging Leaders’.

The theme aligns with VODEC’s commitment to enhancing youth development and aims to showcase the essence of emerging leaders.

This is contained in a news brief from the Organisation to the Ghana News Agency.

It said the Forum aimed to empower and equip emerging leaders with the knowledge, skills, and networks necessary to become effective in a multipolar competitive world, and promote dialogue and collaboration among emerging leaders, established leaders, and stakeholders from various sectors.

It will also formulate recommendations on key economic issues and priorities to be considered by policymakers, and develop a platform for emerging leaders to sh
owcase their talents and contribute to the nation’s economic development.

The brief said the event would host flagbearers of the various political parties, emerging and established leaders from the public and private sectors, economic experts and stakeholders, youth and student leaders, and media representatives.

‘We invite all stakeholders committed to economic development to join us at the NELEF 2024. Let us work together to build a nation where leadership drives progress and prosperity for all,’ the brief said. Participants are to register through https://vodecafrica.org/.
