Addis Ababa: Agricultural investment forum and exhibition that aimed to display agricultural mechanization technologies, investment opportunities and potentials of the country is to be held in Addis Ababa, Ministry of Agriculture disclosed.
Briefing journalists today, Agriculture State Minister Sophia Kassa said the agricultural investment forum and exhibition will be held from August 14 to 15, 2024 in Addis Ababa at Millennium Hall.
The state minister pointed out that over 500 exhibitors will are expected to showcase their agricultural mechanization technologies and products at the exhibition.
The event intends to promote agricultural investment opportunities and create conducive environment by bringing national and international investors, farmers, financial institutions and other concerted bodies together, Sophia stated.
Seminars, symposiums and panel discussions will be held focusing on agricultural investment opportunities as part of the event. interactive business to business and business-to-governm
ent sessions are also expected during the two day forum.
The forum and exhibition will enable the country to demonstrate its investment potential in agriculture sector for domestic and international investors, she noted.
