Ahensan: The Women’s Ministry of the Emmanuel Assembly of the Church of Pentecost at Ahensan has extended its support to the All Nations Charity Home in Ayigya, Oforikrom Municipality by donating food and other essential items to the children residing there.
According to Ghana News Agency, the donation included bags of rice, maize, plantain, cooking oil, tomatoes, noodles, and sanitary pads. Deaconess Mary Amoako, Leader of the Women’s Ministry, stated during the ceremony that this act was intended to alleviate the burden of feeding the children at the orphanage. This initiative aligns with the church’s broader mission to assist the needy and fulfill the biblical directive to support vulnerable members of society.
Deaconess Amoako highlighted the importance of Christians responding to the needs of the vulnerable and providing necessary support. She stressed that it is a Christian’s duty to help those in need, as many in society rely on such contributions to maintain a semblance of normalcy in their lives.
Pastor Philip Akwasi Nyamekye, Founder of the All Nations Charity Home, expressed gratitude towards the Women’s Ministry for their timely contribution. He noted that such donations are crucial for the home’s operation and in supporting the children. Pastor Nyamekye urged other individuals and organizations to assist the home, emphasizing the importance of collective support to ensure a comfortable environment for the children.
