Assembly member for Tegbi Ashiata embarks on developmental projects

Mr. Ephraim Dodzi Jumper, the Assembly member for Tegbi-Ashiata Electoral Area, is embarking on some physical projects within his electoral area to improve the life of the people in the area.

The projects according to the Assembly member are to fulfill the promises he made to the residents during his campaign period prior to the District Assembly Elections in December 2023.

Among the projects is the laying of laterite on the one-and-a-half-kilometre virgin road connecting Toviame to the Ashiata road to enable farmers and fisherfolks in that area to transport their commodities easily and to the nearby markets.

Mr. Jumper said the road project was funded by proceeds from the Tegbi Dututudoza festival celebrated in April this year and supports from other benevolent natives

Construction of a shed with garden seats to serve as a landing beach and trading point for fisherfolks at Blibokorfe Torkor for fishermen and fish buyers who trade in the area.

Mr. Jumper in his interview with Ghana News Agency called on
the people to keep supporting him.

‘As a leader, my utmost responsibility is to make life bearable for my people, these projects are just the beginning of all the good things I would do as a servant leader. Keep giving me the necessary support and encouragement, I am open to any form of criticism to make Ashiata great,’ Mr. Jumper said. He also showed appreciation to natives who supported these projects so far and called on other people too for same supports.

He later promised to continue a school uniform project which he started some time ago, where he funds the sewing of school uniforms for pupils at Tegbi Ashiata D/A Basic School and Tegbi EP Basic School all within the Ashiata electoral area.
