The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, Mr Alfred Obeng-Boateng, has assured residents of Awaso that their roads will receive bituminous surfacing before December 7.
He gave the assurance when he visited some churches in Awaso township as part of his campaign strategy towards election 2024.
In all, four churches were visited namely, The Church of Pentecost, Roman Catholic Church, The Methodist Church and Christ Apostolic Church.
Mr Obeng-Boateng expressed gratitude to the residents for the overwhelming votes for the NPP during the 2020 elections and asked them to do the same this year.
He reiterated the NPP government’s commitment to alleviating the plight of Ghanaians, saying, ‘This is exemplified in educational support through Free SHS, massive road infrastructure, employment of the youth, and provision of good water and sanitation.
Others are planting for food and jobs, health infrastructure, especially Agenda 111, and various factories established in the country.’

tlining some of his development interventions in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, the MP said he had initiated some projects like the construction of roads, modern markets, AstroTurfs, mechanised boreholes, classroom blocks and toilet facilities.
For the Awaso community, Mr Obeng-Boateng mentioned the establishment of the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) School, the water project, and the ongoing construction of town roads were testaments of the government’s unwavering commitment to the development of the area.
He pleaded with the people to retain the NPP government in power by voting massively for Dr Bawumia and himself for them to continue the work they had started.
The MP was accompanied by Mr Paul Andoh, Municipal Chief Executive, Ben Ali Seaman, Council of Patrons, Constituency Executives, Electoral Area Coordinators, and Polling Station Executives.
