Tamale: Madam Fairuza Abdul-Rashid Safian, Executive Director of Camfed Ghana, has appealed to media organisations to leverage their platforms in support of empowering young women in rural areas facing acute disadvantages.
According to Ghana News Agency, Madam Safian emphasized the importance of establishing partnerships between media outlets and Camfed Ghana to advance the vision of ensuring every child receives education, protection, respect, and value, thereby helping to combat poverty. This appeal was made during a media partnership meeting in Tamale, organized by Camfed Ghana to foster stronger collaboration with journalists in promoting the organization’s vision.
Madam Safian highlighted the crucial role of the media in supporting Camfed Ghana’s efforts to equip and empower girls and young women to achieve their fullest potential.
