Churches must educate the youth on sex and marriage – Apostle Dr Agbalenyo

Apostle Dr Kadmiel E.H. Agbalenyo, the Founder and Leader of the Seventh Day Theocratic World Congregation has called on churches to provide the youth with sexual and marital education to prevent them from fornication.

He said at adolescent age of 16 and beyond natural changes took place in both males and females, who had false sexual feelings, especially ladies after their menstruation, and that if not checked it could lead to fornication and prostitution.

Apostle Dr Agbalenyo made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency during a two-week training for the youth of the church on marriage at Otiakrom-Shallom, near Aburi in the Eastern Region.

He said Yahweh the Creator had created the opposite sex according to His pleasure and likeness and commanded them to marry for procreation (Gen. 1:27-28), adding; ‘Since then, both man and woman have engaged themselves in the holy matrimony.’

‘The Almighty God does not want His beloved children to become whores or bastards in His Holy Kingdom hence the in
stitution of marriage. He prefers that young adults should marry so that they can escape the temptation of fornication and adultery,’ Apostle Dr Agbalenyo noted.

He said for the young adults to escape fornication, the churches and the parents must assist them through education because they (youth) lacked the understanding of marriage and the implication of pre-marital sex.

The Apostle called on parents, guardians and the church to guide their adolescent in the fear of God so that they acquire education and jobs before marriage to enable them to manage their families while avoiding embarrassment to society.

‘The lust among adolescents cannot be controlled in the current socialized world because young adults are exposed to the various social networks and platforms, which is dominated largely with social immoral activities instead of upright and industrial revolution in this 21st century,’ he stated.

He said: ‘If the unrighteous youth immorality is not addressed by the United Parenthood, or should parents be
divided in disciplining of their own children, then, Satan the Devil has entered the parenthood – Matt. 12:25.’

Apostle Dr Agbalenyo said although it could be extremely difficult to understand and notice young adults who were exposed to the sophisicated media networks, parents could however help their offsprings who were being controlled by sexual feelings towards the opposite sex.

‘Parents must discuss marital issues with their children who are lustful about the advantages and disadvantages of human sexuality,’ he said.

He concluded saying: ‘Notwithstanding, never give your daughter to the lazy young male adults, either the son of the Pastor or Deacon, and other members of society, likewise, do not allow your son to be married to the lazy young female adults, even if their beauty charms (Prov. 31:30-31).

‘It is divinely established that married couples shall supplement one another’s industrial efforts – Gen. 2:18’.
