Addis Ababa: Vice President of C´te d’Ivoire, Ti©moko Meyliet KONE, in the early hours of this afternoon, has arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to participate in the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU).
According to Ethiopian News Agency, upon his arrival, the vice president was cordially welcomed by Ethiopia’s Health Minister Mekdes Daba at Bole International Airport. As African leaders are now starting to gather in Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa for the AU Summit from 15 to 16 February 2025, one of the key moments would be the election of the next African Union Commission leadership.
