Addis Ababa: Ethiopia’s State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mesganu Arga, held discussions with the UK’s Special Envoy for the Red Sea and Horn of Africa, Alison Blackburne. The meeting focused on strengthening the longstanding cooperation between the two nations across various platforms including bilateral, regional, and multilateral issues of shared interest.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, both parties explored avenues to bolster economic cooperation, particularly in trade, investment, and development. This is aimed at enhancing their bilateral engagements through political consultations and joint ministerial commissions. Discussions also included strategies to improve cooperation in addressing peace and security challenges within the region.
