Ethiopia, Jordan Agree to Strengthen Cooperation in Tourism


Addis Ababa: Ethiopia and Jordan have affirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in tourism sector and further elevate the longstanding and historic relations.

Tourism Minister Nasise Chali held discussion with Jordan Tourism and Antiquities Minister Makram Mustafa Queisi today.

Nasise Chali said on the occasion that the discussion targets to strengthen the long-standing relations between the two countries.

Stating that Ethiopia and Jordan are linked by history, culture and religion, she revealed that an agreement has been reached to continue this partnership in tourism sector.

The two sides have agreed to cooperate in tourism investment, destinations promotion, tourism packages preparation and capacity building, the minister said.

Jordan Tourism and Antiquities Minister Makram Mustafa Queisi on his part said Jordan and Ethiopia have longstanding strong relations.
