Addis Ababa: State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mesganu Arga has welcomed a delegation led by Ambassador Fouad Yazourh, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.
The two sides engaged in consultations on avenues to further strengthen the cooperative relations between Ethiopia and Morocco, according to Foreign Affairs Ministry.
Specifically, they concurred on the need to review and reinforce the existing cooperation agreements in the domains of trade, investment, finance, air service, and education.
Beyond their bilateral agenda, the two delegations also exchanged views on areas of potential collaboration on continental and international affairs.
Recalling the previous high level visits by the two nations as a testament to their robust relationship, the delegations also explored opportunities and domains where stakeholders from both countries can work to translate prior agreements reached during those high-level exchanges into tangible action, as
well as ways for the private sector to contribute to the reinforcement of the bilateral ties.
Following the constructive discussions, the two sides have agreed to convene a joint ministerial commission meeting between Morocco and Ethiopia in the near future.
