Ethiopia Striving to Strengthen Friendships with Germany, France: Prosperity Party VP


Prosperity Party (PP) Vice President Adam Farah said Ethiopia is exerting effort to strengthen its friendships with Germany and France.

Vice President Adam Farah held discussion with German Ambassador to Ethiopia, Stephan Auer, and French Ambassador to Ethiopia, Remi Marechaux, at his office today.

During the occasion, he said that efforts are being exerted to transform Ethiopia’s age-old friendship with Germany and France to a higher level.

The Prosperity Party will work with strong focus to move the friendships to higher level, the vice president added.

According to Adam, Ethiopia has a long-standing friendships rooted in common history, economy, social and political base.

He also explained that PP aims to establish diplomatic relations based on principles and with the goal of mutual benefit.

The party will, therefore, focus on strengthening friendship with Germany and France, based on the same principle.

Adam stressed that the support of friendly countries is needed to strengthen the national result
s achieved in various fields.

The ambassadors on their part revealed that they will continue to strengthen their support in development, humanitarian assistance, transitional justice and the efforts of the inclusive National Dialogue Commission.
