Addis Ababa: Ethiopian Airlines is set to receive its first A350-1000 passenger aircraft, named ‘Ethiopia Land of Origins’, on Tuesday. Ethiopian Airlines Chief Commercial Officer Lemma Yadecha confirmed to ENA that the airline will be the first Airbus customer to fly the A350-1000 in Africa.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, a dedicated Ethiopian delegation has already arrived at the aircraft’s manufacturing site to oversee the final preparations and facilitate its flight to Bole International Airport on Tuesday afternoon, Lemma said. The A350-1000, renowned for its fuel efficiency and advanced technology, is the largest variant of the world’s most modern passenger aircraft, it was learned.
