Ethiopian FM Gedion Holds Talks with Kenyan, Zimbabwean Counterparts


Addis Ababa: Ethiopian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedion Timothewos, engaged in discussions with Kenyan and Zimbabwean officials on the sidelines of the 46th African Union Executive Council. The talks focused on mutual bilateral and regional concerns.



According to Ethiopian News Agency, Gedion met with Musalia Mudavadi, Kenya’s Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs. Their discussions centered on enhancing cooperation on various regional issues.



In a separate meeting, Gedion conferred with Zimbabwean Foreign Minister Amon Murwira. The discussion emphasized the importance of reinstating the joint ministerial commission to identify new areas of collaboration between Ethiopia and Zimbabwe.
