The Ethiopian and Pakistani defense universities discussed ways of cooperating in areas of training, according to the Ministry of Defense.
Commandant Brigadier General, Kebede Regasa discussed with the Pakistani delegation led by Ambassador to Atif Sharif Mian on issues of institutional relations and common interest.
During the discussion, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Ethiopia Atif Sharif Mian said that the two countries diplomatic relationship is strong and fruitful.
The discussion was on areas of strengthening the defense universities of the two countries in technology, training, and research, he added.
Ambassador Mian Atif pointed out that the universities will be able to exchange their successful experiences in terms of training and work together towards ensuring mutual benefit.According to the Ambassador, the defense universities will cooperate in trainings including in the areas of ICT, cyber security, and aeronautical engineering.

sa said that the university cooperates with similar institutions on technology in order to excel the defense force capability based on research.
Ethiopian Defense University teaching military personnel from different African countries on various programs, Brigadier General Kebede said, and emphasized the need for the two universities to jointly conduct trainings that scales up military professionalism.
