Foreign Political Parties Delegations Arriving in Addis Ababa to Take Part in Prosperity Party’s Congress


Addis Ababa: Various foreign political parties’ delegations have arrived this mid-night in Addis Ababa to attend the forthcoming second congress of Prosperity Party (PP) of Ethiopia.



According to Ethiopian News Agency, Morocco’s National Rally of Independents (RNI) delegation led by former Agriculture Minister Mohammed Sadiki arrived at Bole International Airport just a few hours ago to attend the Prosperity Party’s Congress. Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly welcomed by senior government officials, including Peace Minister, Mohammed Idris, Foreign Affairs State Minister, Birtukan Ayano and others.



Similarly, the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) of Trkiye’s Deputy Chairman in charge of Foreign Affairs and Member of Parliament for Istanbul, Zafer Sirakaya, also arrived in the early hours of this midnight. Upon his arrival at Bole International Airport, the deputy chairman was welcomed by Transport and Logistics Minister, Alemu Sime, and Foreign Affairs State Minister, Birtukan Ayano.



The second congress of the Prosperity Party of Ethiopia will be taking place in Addis Ababa from January 31 to February 2, 2025. Moreover, the delegation of the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF), the country’s ruling party, led by Secretary General, Wellars Gasamagera, arrived in Addis Ababa to attend the congress of PP, it was learned.
