Nairobi, An important meeting was held in Nairobi, Kenya, between the Federal Government of Somalia, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank. The company led by the Ministry of Finance of Somalia was officially opened by the Minister of Finance of Somalia Dr. Ilmi Mohamud Nur.
The meeting, which is the second phase organized by the IMF, will be focused on the issues of financial reform, the review of the conditions of the Somali Debt Relief Program, the level of economic policy, and the system of General Financial Management of the country (PFM).
The conference which will last for 6 days will also be attended by the Minister of National Planning of Somalia, the Governor of the Central Bank of Somalia and some of the Federal Government of Somalia and representatives of the international organizations of the world economy.
