The National Youth Authority has commenced a technical working seminar on youth, peace and security, to formulate a comprehensive action plan to address youth involvement in these issues.

She said that acknowledged the importance and positive contributions of young people in the maintenance and promotion of international peace and security.

In the Ghanaian context, peace and security were twin factors and a long-term process of social change, which required the engagement o
f every UN entity, she said.
