Over 10,000 Farming Communities to Benefit from Road Construction in Ayensuano District: DCE.


Coaltar: Over 10,000 farming communities in the Ayensuano District are set to benefit from a 36-kilometre road project, according to Madam Josephine Ansah Awuku Inkoom, the District Chief Executive. The government has awarded the contract for the construction of roads from Owuram through Ayensuano to Suhum, ultimately linking the main Kumasi-Accra Road at Nsawam-Adoagyiri in the Eastern Region.

According to Ghana News Agency, Madam Inkoom disclosed in an interview that the first phase of the road construction, which extends from Owuram to Yawbaah, is currently at the tarring stage. The government has also awarded contracts for the construction of roads at Coaltar, Bepoase, Duodukrom, Dokrochiwa, and Ayekokooso. These projects aim to facilitate the transportation of goods and services, thereby supporting the local economy and bringing development closer to the residents.

triotic Party in the upcoming December 7, 2024, elections. She emphasized that continued support would enable the government to sustain its developmental initiatives in the region.
