PM Hamze chairs cabinet meeting with bold upshots on anti-terror ops

Prime Minister of Federal Republic of Somalia, Hamze Abdi Barre, chaired weekly cabinet meeting in the capital Mogadishu.

The gathering ended with bold and strong outcomes of speeding up nationwide operations against Al-Shabab terror group.

The council of ministers agreed formation of a task force for coordination and fulfilling Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Acts (AML/CFT) law, and successfull counter-terrorism strategies.

Furthermore, the government will nationalize public revolution against militants and will transform Preventing Countering Violent extremism Program (PCVE) into national agency in order to defeat terrorists’ ideology.

National Army announced yesterday completion of first phase military campaign in Hiiraan region, liberating almost 30 villages, killing over 200 terrorists.
