Addis Ababa: The second congress of Ethiopia’s ruling Prosperity Party has elected Abiy Ahmed as its President with a significant number of votes.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the congress, during its third-day deliberation, also elected Temesgen Tiruneh and Adem Farah as Vice Presidents of the Party.
The newly elected President and the two Vice Presidents took the oath of office before the Congress, following the party’s directive.
