Mogadishu Somalia’s Custodial Corps on Tuesday marked its 52nd anniversary of its founding at an event held the central Prison in Mogadishu, in attendance with army chiefs and Minister of Justice, SONNA reported.
Mahad Abdirahman Aden, Chief of Custodial Corps said that prison guards are different from other forces in rehabilitating the youth including those misled by terrorists, saying they did more on their disciplinary actions.
“Terrorist militants intensified their attacks when we became busy on the on-going electoral process, calling for other law enforcement to ensure the security and fight against Al-Shabaab militants”, Aden said.
