Mogadishu, Somalia’s Senate House of the Federal Parliament, on Wednesday approved the bill for the National Security and Intelligence Agency.
The session was presided over by Senator Ali Sha’bban Ibrahim, with 35 members in attendance. 31 members voted in favor of the approval of the law, while three voted against it, and one abstained.
The Minister of State for the Ministry of Security, Mohamed Ali Haga, expressed gratitude to the House of Representatives for passing the law, while the Director General of the National Security and Intelligence Agency, Mahad Mohamed Salad, also extended his thanks
