The United Arab Emirates appointed a new ambassador to Federal Republic of Somalia, according to Emirates News Agency known as WAM.
Ahmad Juma Al Rumaithi, who will replace Mohamed Ahmed Al-Othman, was sworn before President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Al Rumaithi is among a number of new UAE ambassadors named to “friendly countries,” WAM reported on Wednesday (21th September, 2022).
“The new ambassadors pledged their loyalty to the UAE to place its interests over any other considerations while performing their diplomatic tasks with a high sense of honesty, integrity and confidentiality,” it added.
At the event, Al Nahyan said that the UAE is witnessing a new development phase, in which it gives great importance to its partnerships and economic ties with the world.
