West African Postgraduate College of Environmental Health (WAPCEH) Ghana chapter has elected new executives at its eighth Annual Scientific Conference for Fellows and Environmental Health Practitioners.
The newly elected executives are to serve a two-year term from September 2024 to?September 2026.
The conference, which was themed ‘The Connection of Environmental Health, Global Health, and Determinants for Healthy Population in the ECOWAS Region,’ was held at the Village du Benin, University de Lome, Togo.
The newly elected executives are the National President, Mr. Michael Affordofe, who doubles as the Vice President at the West African Regional level.
Others include the National Secretary General and Registrar, Mr Kweku Quansah; the National Treasurer, Ms Florence S. Kuukyi; and Mr Emmanuel Gmanab, the National Organiser and Public Relations Officer.
The rest are Mr Donatus Dogonaa Yieri, Northern Ghana Coordinator, while Mr Henry Adipah, Dr Stephen Ntow, and Isaac Newton Dzahene serve as Members of t
he Council of Patrons.
The newly elected WAPCEH President thanked the fellows of the Ghana Chapter for the confidence reposed in the new team of executives and humbly asked for their support to make the chapter visible both locally and internationally.
