Addis Ababa: Kagool, a leading global data and analytics group, alongside Micro Tech London, is exploring opportunities in Ethiopia’s information technology and emerging technologies sectors. Kagool has announced plans to establish a regional delivery center in Addis Ababa.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, a delegation from Kagool visited Ethiopia to evaluate potential opportunities in these fields. The group engaged in productive discussions with Ethiopia’s Minister of Innovation and Information Technology, the Director Generals for the Information Network Security Agency and the Artificial Intelligence Institute, the CEO for ICT Park, the Director General for the Ethiopian Diaspora Agency, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
Acknowledging Ethiopia’s increasing competitiveness and the government’s dedication to leveraging opportunities in the sector, the delegation decided to continue its partnership with the Ethiopian government. Kagool’s decision to open its regional delivery center in Addis Ababa is expected to introduce the latest digital transformation and AI capabilities to Ethiopia and the broader African region, utilizing Addis Ababa as a strategic entry point.
